Thank you for your report. Ubuntu's policy is to only update software
for security reasons, if you want to get mdadm-2.X in Dapper, you can
make a backport request here : https://bugs.launchpad.net/dapper-
backports/ (submit a new bug there) and it may be added to the dapper-
backport repos. Thanks.
