I have a the same problem with the Dell Vostro V13. Mine works fine until I suspend. After suspension I get the exact same error with the touchpad.
SOLUTION: The 3.2.0-18.28 finally fixed the problem. I am testing 12.04 beta and did a straight apt-get upgrade. The problem did not return (though my wired networking stopped working for some reason). This makes me happy since this issue has prevented me from using Linux across all distro's for many iterations of the kernel in the last year. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/896922 Title: Lenovo L520 - "psmouse.c: touchpad at isa0060/serio4/input0 lost sync" and stops working for seconds To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/896922/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
