@alanbell Am not very familiar with a11y, but i believe this is for general usability (sorting)..
For example I live in a 3rd world country so my internet is very slow and unfortunately metered too, I cant just go and hit "install All updates". I check which ones are worth it and I sort by size (mb), name, etc. So I can only do so with synaptic, since update manager doesnt have sorting and trying to find packages by size was worsening my RSI issues. I have to go and install synaptic just for this. In windows, mac, and most linux distros sorting is possible in their respective update managers (as you can see in the pics). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/878203 Title: Accesibility: Make update list sortable and add option to select/deselect all like in other update managers or synaptic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/878203/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
