Well, you have a sandybridge card, which suggests testing turning off rc6. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/PowerManagementRC6.
Aside from that, since you know that it happened on a specific day (2/21), that suggests downgrading to the versions of the packages you'd had installed before, that I mentioned in comment #2. However those are tough packages to downgrade, so I wouldn't recommend trying it unless you have plenty of time and fortitude. I did scan through the changelogs for those and didn't see anything that struck me as relevant but who knows. ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/938653 Title: [snb-m-gt2] applications fail to redraw To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/938653/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
