Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: ssh
Ubuntu Server 7.04. Do a clean minimal install, setup network etc. Login
then I tried to run apt-get install ssh openssh-server. It asks to put
the 7.04 CD in the tray but never detects it. I've reinstalled it, done
clean installs by formatting the drive to no avail. It won't see either
CD-Rom after an install. This is a test system that works with every
other distro without any hardware issues whatsoever so I don't know why
Ubuntu Server can't/won't see the cd. As a result I can't update the
system and install the packages I'd like to test. I really would like to
make a Ubuntu mail server this week with virtual domains and users to
test through the month of June. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
B
