Public bug reported:

QConf constructor crashes application if requested schema is not present. This 
is caused by call to qFatal() in QConfSchema. 
It should be possible to continue execution, e.g. QConf should return empty 
QVariants in such case, and/or should have a method to tell if schema was 
correctly loaded.
