Public bug reported:
There is a little confusion on the user, when view and edit a photo,
they use two different applications.
Example: Connect an iPod and the application to see/import/edit those
photos is Shotwell, but when you want to see those photos from the
Pictures directory, the user used Eye of GNOME. But the user want edit
in the same app like before. Frustrating.
Desirable solution:
- Eliminate Eye of GNOME, use Shotwell for view/edit/import photos.
** Affects: ubuntu
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
** Summary changed:
- 2 different apps for view photos (Shotwell, EOG), but only one edit
+ 2 different apps for view photos (Shotwell, EOG), but only Shotwell
edit/import photos
