So, I had, too, when launching amarok on cmd line : [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ amarokapp kdecore (KAction): WARNING: KAction::insertKAccel( kaccel = 0x8097510 ): KAccel object already contains an action name "play_pause" QLayout "unnamed" added to QVBox "unnamed", which already has a layout kdecore (KAction): WARNING: KAction::insertKAccel( kaccel = 0x8097510 ): KAccel object already contains an action name "play_pause" QLayout: Adding KToolBar/mainToolBar (child of QVBox/unnamed) to layout for PlaylistWindow/PlaylistWindow Amarok is crashing... Running: gdb --nw -n --batch -x /tmp/kde-greg/amarokC79KAa.tmp amarokapp 918 Running: file `which amarokapp` 1.4.5 [___stripped][validity: 0.17][frames: 40][xine] Amarok s'est interrompu anormalement ! Nous en sommes vraiment désolé :( Mais tout n'est pas perdu ! Peut-être qu'une mise à jour est déjà disponible et résoud ce problème. Vérifiez les versions disponibles pour votre distribution. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ NB: I already tried all possible fix of this page (deleting amarok config, reinstalling, ..), no one helped. So now what I did : [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ mv ./.xine/ ._old_.xine and then: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ amarokapp kdecore (KAction): WARNING: KAction::insertKAccel( kaccel = 0x8157238 ): KAccel object already contains an action name "play_pause" QLayout "unnamed" added to QVBox "unnamed", which already has a layout kdecore (KAction): WARNING: KAction::insertKAccel( kaccel = 0x8157238 ): KAccel object already contains an action name "play_pause" QLayout: Adding KToolBar/mainToolBar (child of QVBox/unnamed) to layout for PlaylistWindow/PlaylistWindow STARTUP QDom: saving invalid character , the document will not be well-formed QDom: saving invalid character , the document will not be well-formed QDom: saving invalid character , the document will not be well-formed QObject::disconnect: Unexpected null parameter QObject::connect: Cannot connect (null)::activePartChanged( KParts::Part * ) to KHTMLPart::slotActiveFrameChanged( KParts::Part * ) [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ (it's returned here because I did close it normaly ;)) :)) NB: thx to jaycun's comment as I realized I had also same kind of issue with my xine too.. -- Amarok freezes on Kubuntu Feisty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/84967 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for amarok in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
