What is your crypttab setup for the LVM encrypted root? I have following line
there:
sys /dev/sda2 none luks,lvm=sys-root
So, my setup has sda2 PV encrypted with luks, and all swaps and
filesystem in this encrypted LVM.
A fix for this was committed to latest feisty and gutsy packages, and at
least for me the stock package works now correctly. Could you please
confirm it works for you as well so I can close this bug.
