- in and the Unity Globalmenu did not react. After playing around with the
- dock it started working again. This may be some Windowmanager/Compiz
- issue but its not purely graphical because the menu doesnt work. until
- you click around on the unity dock.

+ 2. mouse over to the top panel and see desktop menus appear

I have a fresh install with additional Desktop environments installed
and no manual modifications. Its very annoying when unity doesnt seem to
react especially for new users.
