*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 933495 ***
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/933495

This bug is not a duplicate of bug 933495 because in that report author has an
issue with gstreamer not exactly with ffmpeg.
To FIX this bug that I posted you have to add VLC 2.0 version PPA and update
your VLC player or install it as well if it is not in your system. After that
you will be able to fix bug of broken and unmet dependencies ffmepg.

So the order of fixing ffmpeg installation.
1) Add repository sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/vlc
2) Run update and install VLC 2.0 sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install
vlc (notice that you might need to run distro upgrade to install all
neccessary dependencies for VLC 2.0 version.
3) install ffmpeg sudo apt-get install ffmpeg

After that everything will go smooth and you will be able to use ffmpeg.

** Description changed:

- When I try to install ffmpeg in Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit version using terminal it
gives an error of unmet dependencies
