Eduroam is an access to the networks of a lot of European universities. Without second phase (Phase2) authentication it's not possible to connect them.
It could be great for Ubuntu to have an easy approach to configure a secure wireless connection in a few steps, less steps and simpler than Windows. I encourage the maintainers to include NetworkManager > 0.6.4 in, at least, feisty backports.
