Hi All, I was looking at bug 944354 and came across this bug. I'll copy here a portion of the information I posted in that bug:
I was looking at the Ubuntu 12.04 kernel, which is based on upstream v3.2. There does appear to be support for RT5390 via the rt2800pci driver: commit 60687ba710359f32343b7630dc05d3811ef5bf4c Author: RA-Shiang Tu <[email protected]> Date: Sun Feb 20 13:57:46 2011 +0100 rt2x00: Add support for RT5390 chip Add new RT5390 chip support config RT2800PCI_RT53XX bool "rt2800pci - Include support for rt53xx devices (EXPERIMENTAL)" depends on EXPERIMENTAL default y ---help--- This adds support for rt53xx wireless chipset family to the rt2800pci driver. Supported chips: RT5390 ~/ubuntu-precise/debian.master/config$ grep -rn "RT2800PCI_RT53XX" * config.common.ubuntu:4299:CONFIG_RT2800PCI_RT53XX=y So given the above information along with comment #8 from the original reporter, I'm going to close this bug as Fix Released. If anyone is still experiencing issues, I would encourage you to open a new bug. Thanks. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/810111 Title: Support for certain Ralink RT5390 driver not included To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/810111/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
