Hi
Description: Ubuntu precise (development branch)
Release: 12.04
unity:
Installed: 5.6.0-0ubuntu1
Candidate: 5.6.0-0ubuntu1
Version table:

I am having a similar issue with the HUD/Dash.
What happens:
- I open the dash/HUD and it will randomly choose the wrong background
colour/blur effect.
- It is usually occurs when repeatedly opening/closing the HUD.
It doesn't actually matter about the white application, because I have
had it where the wrong colour has been selected without any applications
open and the wallpaper can make the text unreadable.
I have attached two screenshots, one showing the issue and one as it
normally is, as you can see in the normal image the HUD is perfectly
readable with a white background behind - just unity decides on the
wrong background colour/blur for the dash/HUD.
Finally I have marked this bug as confirmed as I am also effected by the
issue which bluenova has reported.
NOTE: I am using Oracle VirtualBox with 12.04 as the Guest.
Andy
