cryptsetup is still not a dependancy of gnome-disk-utility in precise.
Besides this bug, please note that Bug #484429 and Bug #651730 also deal
with easily correctable cryptsetup issues (making it a dependancy of
ubuntu-desktop, nautilus and gnome-disk-utility would correct all three
issues).
