Public bug reported:
After the latest Unity upgrade, the mouse isn't able to bring up the
launcher when moved to the left edge. I have Auto Hide set for the
launcher. No matter how hard I push the mouse against the left edge of
the screen, the launcher does not display. The only way to get the
launcher to show is to hold down the Super key.
