Here's something that I can reproduce every time in my system: 0 - Using the default configuration with 4 workspaces (2x2); 1 - Go to bottom-right workspace, open Empathy, Gwibber and Skype; 2 - Go to the top-left workspace, open Nautilus (or any other application, maybe) 3 - Hit ALT to activate HUD 4 - Either use a command or hit ALT again to cancel HUD (doesn't matter, either way the bug manifests itself)
Result: Skype moves to the top-left workspace, whereas Gwibber and Empathy move to the top-right workspace. $ uname -a Linux povo1-s3-07 3.2.0-18-generic #29-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 9 21:36:08 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Ubuntu Precise 12.04, ran update && dist-upgrade this morning. $ apt-cache showpkg unity Package: unity Versions: 5.6.0-0ubuntu1 (/var/lib/apt/lists/it.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_precise_main_binary-amd64_Packages) (/var/lib/dpkg/status) ... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/951005 Title: Activating any HUD entry moves windows on workspace to the top of the screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/951005/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
