Just to add some feedback, despite the crash notification the session is not impaired and compiz continues working, I guess it is relaunched. I wonder also if this is not related to the shortly garbled screen between the greeter login and the desktop bacgkround appearance. I doubt I'm alone at experiencing it, it seems so clearly a bug that I don't know if I need (and how) to describe it. So much for the "smooth" background transition from login to session. I'm assuming this typically will be ironed out for the RC.
