Hi Newfie,
Could you please run "ccsm", scroll down and find the Ubuntu Unity Plugin and
disable it? Keep the ccsm window open! But leave it for a while to see if that
solves the problem. Then when you're done testing re-enable the Unity Plugin
before closing ccsm.
