The 'sudo apt-get install --reinstall libxfixes3 libxfixes3:i386' did not work
entirely, it still gave an error as other packages that were to be installed
had unresolved dependencies.
I tried 'sudo aptget upgrade && sudo aptitude upgrade --full-resolver', which
did a good job in installing new packages that had no dependency issues. There
are still unresolved dependencies on my system, however.

Will this issue resolve itself or is a workaround/fix needed?
