Hi All,

I have tested this Eee PC 1001PXD with the commands listed in comment
#18 - that didn't resolve the problem for me on this machine. Having a
closer look I checked hcitook dev and there's absolutely nothing
displayed for hardware devices. The display of dmesg looks like this:

[ 39.318686] Bluetooth: HCI device and connection manager initialized
[ 39.318695] Bluetooth: HCI socket layer initialized
[ 39.318701] Bluetooth: L2CAP socket layer initialized
[ 39.318857] Bluetooth: SCO socket layer initialized
[ 39.415197] Bluetooth: BNEP (Ethernet Emulation) ver 1.3
[ 39.415206] Bluetooth: BNEP filters: protocol multicast
[ 39.437283] Bluetooth: RFCOMM TTY layer initialized
[ 39.437299] Bluetooth: RFCOMM socket layer initialized
[ 39.437306] Bluetooth: RFCOMM ver 1.11

Output of hcitool:

g@g-1001PXD:~$ sudo hcitool dev
