Sorry but we can work only a bug for report, so i'm closing this.
You have to open a terminal and type, for the video player problem
ubuntu-bug totem
and it will start all the automatic procedure, in the description field
describe step by step your problem.
same thing with the printer, connect it to the pc, power it and type in the
terminal
apport-collect cups
