Thanks for the response Till. My understanding of the issue is that Ubuntu identifies the printer correctly but installs the wrong driver, or, the CUPS driver that Ubuntu installs has a bug. (Making it an Ubuntu/CUPS issue)
As a workaround, the steps from Post 11 have been taken to get it working till a permanent fix is released. Can you please check the Ubuntu side of things?
