Hi 8200. You're right. Clicking the "quit" option in the launcher should exit the opened instance of pidgin, but it doesn't. A quick way to quit it is to click the "quit" option in "Buddies" menu to properly exit pidgin.
Please file a new bug report against pidgin. Launch a terminal and do: ubuntu-bug pidgin and follow the instructions. Thank you for reporting that bug. --- Ubuntu Bug Squad volunteer triager http://wiki.ubuntu.com/BugSquad -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/947643 Title: In Precise, Pidgin creates a second icon in the launcher when opened by dash or HUD To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pidgin/+bug/947643/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
