Public bug reported:

If a tap is very fast, grail may see the physical end of the tap but not
send any events until the composition time has passed. Grail will
provide a timeout value when this occurs, and the geis grail backend
needs to use it to set a timeout on the server. Currently, geis does not
do this so grail is not updated and the gesture is not seen.
