Public bug reported:

System:
HP pavilion DV-6000
dual AMD Turion x64
Nvidia GeForce Go 6150

Done with 32bit Kubunto 7.04

I booted Kubunto off of the CD with out any problems, and installation
went fine until I went to boot the OS off of the hard drive. After
getting through the loading screen, my screen went to a grayish white
and then slowly went to all black (over the course of about 2 minutes).
The manner in which the screen changed was awkwardly random for a
computer to generate in my opinion. I let it sit for awhile after that
but nothing happened and It happened again after reinstalling it. This
also happened with my friends laptop that is almost identical to my
laptop with only a very slightly lower graphics card, but with his it
just went right to a black screen with both Kabunto and Debian Linux

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
