I have a similar issue, sometimes (most of them) when I log in gnome3 my accounts configured with "online accounts" stay offline, then I have to switch my status to offline then online again.
Sometimes it's worse, the "online accounts" just vanish from empathy, then I go to the "online accounts" configuration, disable chat then reenable, the "online accounts" then appears again in empathy accounts, so then I can be online. My workaround was to create the accounts through empathy and disable (not remove, unless thay will appear again) the "online accounts" from there. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/935943 Title: Accounts created using "gnome online accounts" only connect in empathy once my online status is toggled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-online-accounts/+bug/935943/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
