Alright, I think it's not a bug in the nvidia driver, but more of a general problem with installing onto a usb stick.
In oneiric we saw an issue where it'd fail because it couldn't update the bootloader on a usb stick. I think that got sorted out. There was also an issue with running out of disk space when installing proprietary drivers on usb sticks, that the installer didn't handle. I don't know if that got sorted out, but assume so. Anyway, not really sure where this bug should go next for troubleshooting, so just going to bump it to the ubuntu queue. ** Package changed: nvidia-graphics-drivers (Ubuntu) => ubuntu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/939770 Title: package nvidia-current 295.20-0ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/939770/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
