I'm glad this bug has been confirmed. I have a wireless card D-Link AirPlus DWL-650+ which has been working ever since Dapper until now in Feisty. Needless to say that this kernel upgrade broke it. The computer is a Dell laptop, Inspiron 5100.
I hope it doesn't hurt if I attach the same files even though the bug has been confirmed... please ignore them if there's nothing interesting in these files. There are a lot of people out there affected by this - perhaps having assigned "medium" importance is a tad underestimated. uname -a Linux dell 2.6.20-16-386 #2 Wed May 23 01:42:57 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux Thanks. ** Attachment added: "dmesg.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/7923395/dmesg.log -- Wireless gone at upgrade to kernel 2.6.20-16-generic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/117580 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
