Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gedit
gedit is unable to reverse print. There is no option anywhere in the print dialog to reverse the printing order. Steps to repeat bug: open a file in gedit, preferably a rather lengthy one. Lets say for argument's sake that it is a 40-page output file from a program. Now, if you try to print the pages in reverse, starting with page 40 and ending with page 1, there is no way to do that. This is a useful feature found in several other text editors (including the editors in KDE and XFCE) because in some printers printing in normal order would cause the papers to come out in a reversed-order stack (the first page to be printed is the bottom page of the stack), necessitating reordering. But with reverse-print enabled, these documents come out of the printer in a stack that is properly ordered. ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- no option to reverse print in gedit https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/118339 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
