Public bug reported:
If a LyX document is linked from a BibTeX entry in JabRef (requires you
to define LyX as a new external file type, with application set to
"lyx"), you can start LyX by clicking on the file icon in JabRef.
However, in this case LyX appears with a JabRef icon in the Unity dock.
A JabRef user reported that the icon was also wrong in the Alt-tab
switcher, but I couldn't reproduce this. When starting LyX normally (not
from JabRef) the icon is correct. This bug only appears when running
JabRef from the repository, not with JabRef jar file downloaded from
SourceForge.
I am the lead developer of JabRef, so I can make changes to the JabRef
code if necessary.
