Public bug reported:

When booting, I have UUID=a8612e70-f629-4506-a1de-c687a75c0c68
/media/external/ ext4 defaults,nofail 0 1 in fstab, but if that drive
isn't available, the booting sequence is interrupted, and it brings up
some prompt saying press s to skip or w to wait. It shouldn't ignore the
nofail option
