I'm getting a abort, that is reproducable, but a little hard to
reproduce

and then i relized that 1.0.1 was released and all it does is fix a bunch of 
crashes, and upstream doesn't support this version anybore.

also: this is how i crashed, even after running in gdb with libc6-dbg
