Hi Sebastian sorry for the Italian comment, I've marked invalid the bug for other packages than ubuntu-defaults-it so I thought that you guys wouldn't receive messages anymore from this bug.
So, what's the problem: in the italian CD we've the rhytmbox customization with some Italian radios. Those radios required the mp3 pluging. When you select it from an installed system it works with no problem. If you try from the Live session it says that there's no plugin available. The bug is reproducible Ubuntu Desktop if you add a stream like this: http://shoutcast.unitedradio.it:1209/listen.pls I've tried opening a terminal and installing manually the gstreamer0.10 -fluendo-mp3 package and then it works. So the problem is not about the repository. I also made an "apt-get update" before trying so the system had a local information about the packages. Why do you talk about multiverse? gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3 is in universe afaik.
