Thanks for your bug report. We need some more information about that
issue. The starting volume of the Mac is controlled by the Firmware
controlled by OS X, so it should be at a reasonable value if you had set
it reasonable in OS X before you boot from the CD.
Also, if you can still reproduce it with the final Feisty Live CD, you
should change the title of the bug report, otherwise it will not be
handled as it refers to a beta release with a final release already
available.
