I can confirm this bug but my problem is a bit different from what has been
described above.

Problem 1:
X refuses to load and shows a screen with B&W bars blinking.
Switch to another session (Crt+Alt+F1) and then switch back to the current
session (F7) solves the problem but I have to do that every time X is
loaded/reloaded.
Problem 2:
The 9639 driver causes artifacts on alpha channels. I can't fix this problem.
PS: Just for the record, it does matter if all extensions are disabled
or enable, the problem persists.
