I've review the package details in #1 and made a few changes:
1) I've folded both of the precise entries into a single entry
2) I've fixed up and annotated both of the patches in debian/patches
3) I've tweaked the postinst/postrm maintainer scripts to include
debhelper markes
4) I added the grub-mkhelper patch Copyright and license details to
d/copyright.
Other than that is builds OK (see attached) and installs/purges OK.
I got new grub entries alongside the existing ones for tboot
