I can confirm this bug with my T60. I could hear sound for a second every time I plugged or unplugged the AC jack. I rebooted several times using the most current and the previous kernel but no luck. Then I unplugged the power jack, halted the os, and removed the battery. After booting the AC jack unplugged, now I again have sound. This is kinda weird.
