ok then I said it before upstart is a complete mystery to me. so when autofs is started start-ypbind is actually blocking autofs ?? and only when start-ypbind is started is autofs actually started?? if you say so but I do not understand the configuration that makes this happen. if I look into start-ypbind it gets started and then only waits for ypbind to start.
