I am still running gnome-shell 3.2.2.1-0ubuntu1 because extensions I depend on (several from frippery and classic systray for temperature monitor, volti, and cpufreq-applet) have not been ported over yet.
I have had to hold some packages, Mutter included, to mantain compatability with this shell version until those extensions are ported over, a job I don't know how to do myself. Has anyone identified the packages that originally caused this problem? I can stop the window border corruption by opening gnome-tweak-tool. changing the GTK theme to anything, then changing it back, forcing the theme to be re-read. When the listed extensions are ported to GNOME 3.4, only then can I update the shell. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/961591 Title: Windows border graphics corrupted To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/961591/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
