flash-kernel ships a zz-flash-kernel postinst hook for the kernel
package since a while by default which works around this bug ... since
maverick is EOL for quite a while now, the bug is being worked around
with the default install and since i belive this is handled according to
the request in teh upcoming flash-kernel that we will witch to in 12.10,
i'm closing the ubuntu task now.
