Rainer, we will work on this. It seems something with AppArmor.

Can you manually start CUPS via the command

sudo /usr/sbin/cupsd

in a terminal window? Some seconds after that start

lpstat -r -p

If this shows your printers, you are able to print.

If this does not work, run the commands

sudo apt-get install apparmor-utils
aa-complain cupsd

and repeat the above.

This is only for the time being. We are working on solving the problem
that all works automatically for you again.
