Public bug reported:
I plugged in my kindle 4 into usb via usb cable, device is not
recognized (I can't see it in nautilus or whatever file manager I use,
neither in calibre). When connected via usb, kindle flashes as it's
gonna charge, but after few flashes nothing else happens. Media
automount is on.
When connecting via usb, kindle's orange indicator is on, but kindle is
not charging.
Last time I charged kindle was approximately 3 weeks ago and everything
worked fine.
I'm sorry about lack of additional system information, but I don't know
what package should I post info about. USB?
Whatever command you need, just bring it on. Thanks.
UPDATE:
When I went to "system settings -> details -> removable media -> other
media", found "e-book reader" settings and manually set it to open
folder, I was able to mount kindle and charge it as well.
