I can confirm this bug. You can also reproduce it by changing the path
to your owa exchange box so that you need to retype your password at
next evolution start. I guess the problem is that mail-notification does
not "know" about the passwort change request and tries to access the box
while ending in a kind of loop.

I managed to work around by just killing the mail-notifation
process(es), that might be better for you, too.
