** Patch added: "tvtime_1.0.2-7ubuntu9.debdiff" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tvtime/+bug/962666/+attachment/2933825/+files/tvtime_1.0.2-7ubuntu9.debdiff
** Description changed: Binary package hint: tvtime Wishlist: Disable sound unmuting when I touch volume control. I have a Toshiba notebook and I enable muting on the internal speakers. The problem is, that the notebook has a sound level knob in front side, which can easily (and mostly by accident) turn "up or down" and it automatically unmutes the speakers. A recurring example which drives me nuts is something starts SCREAMING through my speakers and there is no means to adjust the volume except through windows main controls so I have to have it blare while I turn it down. TEST CASE: 1) Set volume to any level 2) Press "m" to mute volume 3) Try to degrase volume 4) Result: tvtime unmute volume - With vesion from - https://code.launchpad.net/~geoubuntu/ubuntu/precise/tvtime/fix-962666 + With patch from + https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tvtime/+bug/962666/+attachment/2933825/+files/tvtime_1.0.2-7ubuntu9.debdiff it should be able to turn down the volume while remaining muted. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/962666 Title: FFe: disable sound unmuting when I touch volume control To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tvtime/+bug/962666/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
