You're right, it must've been a ppa build mistake. I tried it again and it works now, thanks.
It would've been faster if revu was still working. :) I had to wait for it to be included in Debian, then apply for FFe. I also had to wait for the inclusion of libarchive 3.x - at least libarchive made it. Thank you for the clarification!
