I installed grub again (sudo grub-install /dev/sda) but it did not help. The behaviour remains the same. On the system there is only ubuntu installed so after the first boot grub starts the first kernel without asking. So I think it is not a grub problem, but one of the kernel 3.2.0-20, which I can't start even after the second boot, when grub is loaded. Because of this I change the bug-title back.
