I can - unfortunatly - confirm this problem (well, sort-a). When I try
to launch Ubunto from the CD (normal mode) then I don't see anything in
screen (but I do hear the startup sound). When I launch in Safe Graphics
mode, I receive the X-server error, but with (EE) No screens detected.
Also, the wireless card keeps sending error messages.
I'm using an Acer Aspire 5024WLMi with an ATI Mobility Radeon X700.
