GI'day Brad, I endeavoured to run the apport-collect 963504 and it appears to be stuck in a state stating
"Waiting to hear from Launchpad about your decision..." - so I am guessing that it is either taking a very long time to deteremine the issue - or the infomration required is missing?" Subsequent to my initial posting, I did notice a bug in the application software running that may have caused a memory violation that provoked the error reported. (a printf with a mismatch between parameters and format specifiers - although this was not immediately associated with an lzop operation - but - yep - with memory violations with C it's anyomnes guess? :) ) I have not experienced any issues with lzop since my initial posting - so I am not sure what to do with this bug status.
