Tried the latest upstream kernel as suggested however it seems this no longer
contains the driver for my card.
I removed the blacklist entry and booted 3.0.0-16-generic-pae - card picked up
but unsuccesful in connecting and seemed to cause kernel stalls and system
hang. Booted 3.3.0-999-generic-pae and the card is not picked up at all.
